Tännforsen – Largest waterfall in Sweden

Tännforsen waterfall is always open. Please use caution, clothing and shoes after circumstances. Closest distance to waterfall from parking is 200m. A walkway, ”Blomsterslingan”, of 1 km will give you the chance to see the top and bottom of the fall.

Lightning is not provided around the walkways in winter.

A Parking & Service fee of 40 SEK for two hours per car is charged for service at location which include, open restrooms (when possible), WiFi and garbage handling.

Please respect this as the option is an unclean environment for all guests.

Pilgrim / S:t Olavsleden

Bookings for pilgrims 2026 open.
Service and prices communicated when booking with mail.

Dinner, breakfast and lunch can be included. Rental of bedlinnen and towel is possible. See More below for further information.

Please observe: The housing is only available for pilgrims, with pilgrim-passports,
walking the S:t Olavs-path. No other guest are possible and here we recommend Åre Bed&Breakfast and Hotels in Åre/ Duved.

Motorhome

Welcome to stay at Tännforsen – Largest Waterfall in Sweden with Motor Home at our Ställplats. We have 8 spaces with electricity and 15 more without that will be informed about when arrived.
Available is service house with shower/WC. There is no kitchen or cink for washing up utensils.

No booking ahead is required.

Fee can be paid in automat upon arrival with Credit card, with Easy Park or in station when open. Please place ticket visible in car. In the evening when our daily guests has left you are able to use our garden for your evening arrangements.

Fresh water access to over night guests

No gray/ black water disposal. Here we refer to ”Rastplats Björnänge” och ”Rastplats Storlien”

No Camping
Please respect that NO camping, or campfires, are allowed in the surroundings of Tännforsen. Guests with tents or caravan are referred to recommended campsites Rista Fallet or Åre Camping. Sleeping over in car not allowed.
